Balik Melaka

As usual like every year when my elder bro came back to Msia, he sure will want to go back Melaka to visit relatives. This time he brought along his gf to visit the relatives and also visiting the historic places there. Our lunch at the Chicken Rice Ball. Dinner at the Satay Celup. Teresa & my elder bro.

Karaoke on Christmas

Another session of X'mas gift exchange. It's with Hoon, Janet & Sunny at Redbox Lowyat. The price on X'mas was a bit higher than normal rate with RM20++ (buffet + drink) for 3 hours.

We got to sing 神木与瞳's '为你而活'&'草戒指', etc.

The gift must be at least RM20.
After opening... The froggy botol was appeared on last night's gift exchange! And this time I got the Froggy bottle + Doggy bone wrist rest. How come the gifts that I chosed were split into 2 gifts again? Now, I have 4 gifts during 2 session of gift exchange. Cup, Cow Sleep Mask, Froggy bottle and Doggy bone wrist rest.

X'mas Eve at Skybar

Colleagues suggested to have a drink at Skybar on X'mas Eve and also to have X'mas gift exchange there. We had chosen the sofa seats with KLCC night view.

Sunway Lagoon Family Day

It's company Family Day at Sunway Lagoon. 3 yrs ago, they've held it in the same location. This time we didn't join their event for Telematch & Lucky Draw, we straight away tried out the parks.

Following my brothers to Pantai Hill Park apartment this afternoon. They've just signed up a 7-day swimming lesson because elder bro will be leaving to Langkawi with his gf next week but he doesn't know how to swim.
The afternoon was raining after the lesson was started half an hour.
So, they have to packed the things and left earlier, coming back on next morning.

Year End Holiday

X'mas is coming soon... I'm having an earlier holiday bcoz of clearing leaves. My brothers are also taking leaves at the same time. Elder bro was just back on Monday, while his gf will be visiting Msia on next Monday.

This year I will have 2 session of X'mas gift exchange - X'mas eve with colleagues & the day of X'mas with Hoon, Janet & Sunny. The toothbrush is for RM10 rules while the 1000ml water bottle is for RM20 rules.

Test and Holiday

Today is the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) 2008, held in UPM. I had been learning the language for nearly one year. Thus, had also taken this opportunity to test myself (RM50 for test fee). Here's the test site for level 4, at Faculty of Engineering.
hmm.... so many people are learning this common language.
My test schedule was during the afternoon session. 2pm must assemble in the classroom for briefing. The first paper is Vocabulary/Spelling from 3:00pm-3:25pm. Then, the 2nd paper is Listening from 4:20pm-4:45pm. Everybody's stomach started to feel hungry.The 3rd paper is Grammar/Reading from 5:20pm-6:10pm. yeah, finished! Tomorrow can go shopping with Daisy :)

The coming December

Every time Chris sees me, she will say I look alike one of the characters who acts the little girl in the Moonlight Resonance. I wonder which one that she mentioned although I've watched the first 3 episodes. Chris's friend had returned the DVDs and she so wanted to show me, borrowed me the set of DVDs.

Another Taiwanese Drama by Ariel Lin and Joe Cheng again - 我的亿万面包. It just released 2 episodes so far, but it's far more less interesting than their previous drama - 恶作剧之吻.

Meanwhile, we have received our JLPT test voucher which we'd applied earlier in Sept. The test will be on 7 Dec (Sunday) at 2pm. The test site is located at UPM.

It's end of the year again, lots of leaves have to be cleared. I have applied leaves from 16 Dec until 29 Dec, but no planning on the holidays at all. During the holidays, on 20 Dec is Company Family Day in Sunway Lagoon, had already registered:)

The Mines Bookfair

The 10th World of Chinese Book fair at the Mines was held from 14 - 23 Nov. Today is the last day, we managed to visit it. Me, Hoon, Janet & Sunny all also get at least a book from the exhibition. I got a book by Valen Hsu - Beauty Sence '五感美人'. It's already out the market since 2006 but I just could not meet with this book. Today it's also the last piece on the rack of Cite Publisher 成邦. After 30% discount with Janet's member card, it's only RM27:)
It has 187 pages. It talks about the beauty from 5 senses - Touch, Taste, Smell, Sight and Hearing.
Simply flip a few pages......
Touch, about how to taking care of our skin and body.
Taste, about healthy eating style and food, Valen's recipes, etc.
Smell, Valen's bath menu...
Sight, perfume... make up... high heels...
Hearing, music listening... movie... reading... Yoga.
The bookfair was not as interesting as the mid year Bookfest held in KLCC each year. Comparing, it has very less books and publishers, half of the exhibition are occupied by the stationeries/academic courses/digital dictionary booths. Within 1 or 2 hours, we'd finished hunting our books.

Sunny's Birthday Celebration

This Saturday, we planned to go Redbox Karaoke at the Curve and then NiuZeXui street mall for Sunny's birthday.

This time Zing was able to join us too. She's our driver:)

As usual, we picked the Happy hour from 11am-2pm with set lunch and buffet. I'd chosen many songs of Yoga Lin 林宥嘉 & Jam Hsiao 萧敬腾 which are newly released in May & June which I had not get to sing before.


Songs we sang... 傻瓜, 林依晨's 你, 男人女人, Mayday's 恋爱ing & 离开地球表面, 刘力杨's 我就是这样, 郭静's 爱情讯息, 我怀念的, etc.

Next destination - Niu Ze Xui (NZX). The place is still quite empty.
