Macau Trip: Day 7

Early morning, we headed to Senado Square again for breakfast.
We found Wong Chi Kei 黄枝记

Wong Chi Kei is famous for its fresh prawn wanton noodle & poridge. Each prawn wanton contained 2 prawns, it's very fresh & big in size.
This is the 招牌虾子面

Holy House of Mercy (仁慈堂). A charitable organisation, was responsible for founding in Macau the first western-style medical clinic (白马行医院) and several other social welfare structures.

Macau Business Tourism Centre.St. Lawrence's Church was built in the mid 16th century, it's one of the 3 oldest churches in Macau. It is overlooking the sea, so families of Portuguese sailors used to gather & wait for their return, hence it was given the name: Feng Shun Tang (风顺堂).
On the way to Lilau Square and A-Ma temple, bought some coffee milk tea.
Reached Lilau Square (亚婆井前地).
Beside Lilau Square.

Lilau water. The ground water of Lilau used to be the main source of natural spring water in Macau. They believe "One who drinks from Lilau never forgets Macau".
European style building beside Lilau.
Calcada Do Lilau (亚婆井斜巷)
On the way to A-Ma temple......
A-Ma temple (妈阁庙).

Tried 'Kau Cim' at here again.

Outside of A-Ma temple......
港务局
Back to Senado & saw Pastelaria Pun Veng Kei 潘荣记.

The local egg biscuits 金钱饼 is so delicious. The trip came to the final, it's tiring & as budgeted. Our next trip, going Hanoi?

Macau Trip: Day 6 (Zhuhai to Macau)

Zhuhai's Gongbei is near to the border of Macau.
Opposite of our hotel, there's a franchise of Yong He Dou Jiang (永和豆浆) which looks similar to the KFC old man.
Salty tou fu fa 咸豆花.
糯米鸡南瓜饼
炸酱面 not that kind of korean black noodles but the taste's not bad.
My bowl of soya salty flavour 咸豆浆.
Fried onion biscuit 葱油饼.
It's actually can take bus to the Fisher Girl Statue but we took a taxi. The drivers there were so fierce in driving, cut the opposite lane like hell. Here we reached 珠海渔女
Fisher Girl - the symbol of Zhuhai.

After this, we checked out from Zhuhai and headed to the Gongbei immigration, once again passed through the procedures in immigration. Once we out from Gongbei, we looked for the free Lisboa casino bus because our hostel was near to it.

The Cafe Nata is behind the hostel.

It's famous for its crispy portuguese egg tart.

Reached the Senado Square's fountain. Yee Shun 義順 milk restaurant.
It's famous for its ginger milk.
A Chinese girl gives a lotus flower to a Portuguese guy. This represents the pure friendship between China & Portuguese. The bird on the circle represents 'Forever' & 'Understanding'.

This statue was built later in 1994, a girl & a dog, looking at the Ruins of St. Paul's. Year 1994 was dog year too.
In front of Ruins of St Paul's. It was the first western-style university in the far east. It was destroyed by fire and left this symbolical altar (牌坊).
Behind of Ruins of St Paul's, there's a small museum.
NaTcha temple (哪吒庙) & the Section of the Old City walls (舊城牆遺址). It's built in 1888, this temple is dedicated to the worship of Na Tcha.
On the way to Monte Fortress, a big tree.

大炮台

Portuguese style dinner at Kun Kei 坤记. This is my favourite fried Bacalhau.
How silly that we purposely just want to see this 3 lights 三盏灯, haha~ because we had been joking about this spot in office for some times.
Coincidence, it's the 7th Macau Food Festival opposite Macau Tower.
Macau Tower.

Each of us chosed something to eat. I had the pumpkin Tapioca 南瓜西米露。I had really eaten a lot of pumpkin in one day - breakfast's pumpkin cake, dinner's pumpkin soup and now:)We only went to the nearest casino of our hostel - Lisboa. HuiYing & I won some money from the jackpot that's enough for souvenirs here.
