Krabi Trip - Day 4

[10 Nov 2010] Last day in Krabi.

The morning were cloudy, we just leisure at the rooftop.

I tried to sleep on the round sofa:

The Small Hotel is joint with Krabi La Playa resort with just one bridge:

So, we walked over to Krabi La Playa resort:


Continued walking out from resort, stopped by a fruit shake stall:

One last shake (20 baht) before leaving Krabi to the Airport.

Krabi Trip - Day 3

[9 Nov 2010] After breakfast, we walked to the Ao Nang beach.

We started to pose at the seaside. Yoga:

We had to start and wait for the sea wave to have better photos:

MingLi & sister formed the Love shape:

Not easy to stand with one leg on the soft sand + wave:

Suddenly we were back to last night's Walking Street again:

It's time to go back hotel because we were told to move out from the Private Pool Access room for the last night, they arranged us to 1st floor room. Then we were out for lunch at the food stall beside Krabi Resort.

The street food was much more cheaper and it's half price of restaurants. The service was fast and food was delicious.

We ordered Papaya Salad (50 baht), Tom Yam Kung with prawns (50 baht), Green Curry with chicken (50 baht), Fried Noodle (40 baht) and Fried Rice (40 baht).

We continued shopping, unfortunately we had to walk under the rain:

After tired shopping, we went for Thai massage (180 baht). Then it's time for dinner. The boss promised to give us 15% discount, so we went into the Sea Restaurant. We ordered Stir Fried Asparagus with Prawns (90b), Green Eggplant Salad with Prawns (100b), Tom Yam, Deep Fried Fish Mixed Thai Herb (by Weight), Grilled Squid (by Weight) and Steamed Curry Seafood (120b).

Krabi Trip - Day 2

[8 Nov 2010] Had our breakfast before leaving to island hopping.

On the way to our long tail boat:

We stopped at Pranang beach:

We hop on to another island called Chicken Island:

Then we stopped at Poda island for picnic lunch:

There were quite a lot of jellyfish in this island that we were afraid to swim at the sea:

So we just leisure around and I made a reversed 'C':

Then we started to jump for fun:

The weather was cloudy and sometimes rained. Finally we were back to hotel to relax.

After taking bath, we were out again for dinner.

We stopped by Wang Sai restaurant for Thai food:

Mango Salad, Tom Yum, Green Curry Chicken, Fried Pepper Squid, Steam fish...... The food was delicious and the price was average.

Walked to the street for night shopping:

Decided to have some drinks at the Blue Water Cafe near to the Walking Street:

We tried out the Cocktail because it was buy 1 free 1 (160 baht each).

On the way back to hotel, we bought some street food for supper:

Krabi Trip - Day 1

[7 Nov 2010] Once we arrived at Krabi Airport in the afternoon, Nan from See Tho Holidays was already waiting us with their van:

We were brought to visit Wat Thum Sir "Tiger Cave" Temple.

Nan helped us to take a group photo:


Saw a golden buddha tree:

Then we had our late lunch which was included in the tour package - Duck Noodle. Another choice was Seafood Fried Rice but nothing special. Some said this Duck Noodle (40 baht) was more delicious than Bidor duck noodle or maybe we were too hungry?

Then we passed by a local product souvenir shop but nothing interested me. I was more interested to take a photo with this colourful Krabi signboard:

Later on, we visited Marine Fish Rehabilitation Centre:

Finally we checked-in to The Small hotel. We were upgraded to Private Pool Access room for 2 nights for free which we asked the agent to arrange it if that's free rooms during matta fair.
There's several taxi tuk-tuk awaiting outside the hotel:

Ming Li & sisters negotiated 900 baht to go Krabi town & back:

It's a rainy night at Krabi town:

We shared to taste some local food along the night market. The Krabi night market was only opened during weekends.
