Back from Cherating trip

Just back from Cherating 2D1N trip on Saturday & Sunday (26&27). We were in a fishing village taking photo:

We were so lucky that the Turtle Santuary had the little turtle going back to sea performance at night, we had a group photo by using Catherine hubby's camera:

It was my first time to fly a kite.
Waiting for the sunrise in the early morning. We managed to wake up early at 5:30am although we had beer session at late night.

After check-out, we had seafood lunch at a seaside restaurant at roadside. The trip was quite enjoyable & memorable. It was well organised & full of activities.

Hoon's Convocation

Congratulations to Hoon! She finally got her cert of Secretaries & Administration. Her convocation was held at PWTC this afternoon. Me, Sunny & Zing shared to buy her a cute little teddy bear. No flowers from us, she had received bunches of flowers from her sisters & her office. The afternoon was raining heavily, we couldn't go out to celebrate for her, we sat down at a restaurant in the hotel and have some drinks while waiting the rain stops. It was a gathering since chinese new year, too bad that Janet wasn't able to join us today. Well, we will gonna meet up again next month to celebrate Janet's birthday.

MingLi back from Medan trip and bought us key ring souvenir. It's like local souvenir that we can find it in M'sia... So, other than Sabah, now I have a fatty Lake Toba ribena:)

Macau Trip for November

AirAsia offers free seats again. Last night we managed to book a KL-Macau-KL 7 days trip ticket. The prices changed quite fast that we could only book the free seat from KL-Macau but the return need to pay RM109.99. But it's still cheap enough after including tax which is about RM365. At first we saw free one with RM255 but sigh... some other people booked faster than us. This trip I'll be following my colleagues, 6 girls. We haven't decide which destinations yet, maybe will hop on Shenzhen & Guangzhou or Hong Kong. However, one of us had already visited HK, so the possibility to HK is low. November is autumn, one of the best time to visit, in terms of weather.

Departmental Trip plan for May

My fellow colleague, Vincent, is organising a departmental trip to Cherating in 26/27 May. About 30 of the staff have paid the deposit, the resort will be Suria Cherating Resort. He sent us a draft itinerary:

It seems like very interesting because I have not been to Kuantan before and this trip could be a brief introduction for me to know this place although it's just 2D1N:) Well, another thing is that I'm gonna miss Janet's birthday celebration this yr again? Because last year our company had a trip to Port Dickson on her Bday.... Oh, no... =p Met Helen online and she suggested if going out at night to celeb Janet's bday, she will pick Breakers in Desa Sri Hartamas but it is still early to do planning until the coming May.

SGM Family Day

Daisy is a member of SGM(Soka Gakkai Malaysia) since teens. Her organisation was having a family day today at Taman Kota Cheras. There's also recycle event running around in different buildings, including old computers/batteries, paper, bottles, etc. I brought some old waste paper/brochures for recycling. It was also like a pasar pagi because people kept lelong their old stuff in cheap. Along the market, there's also members opened booth to invite SGM members to join their clubs, eg: orchestra, choir, dance, etc. However, I'm not a member, so it's not eligible to join. Other than that, the members prepared breakfast/lunch in their big hall canteen for sale. Daisy took me around the buildings and intro me her organisation. Well, it's nice to know such an organisation and their activities but I got no interested to join the believing. Later on, we went for shopping in OUG and gonna meet again at next weekend's KLCC sales.

According to Daisy, there was Sales at Isetan, so we met up at Lot 10 yesterday. Vincci was having Sales as well, especially the branch in Sg Wang where it was so obvious that all boyfriends / husbands were standing outside to wait for their girlfriends / wifes hunting inside the crowd.

I've also chosen some outing dress & shoes:)

March Babies

It's the turn for March babies. 6 babies of my colleagues celebrated together in the office this afternoon. Someone won the karaoke session during annual dinner also took the chance to belanja everyone Oriental Chicken crisps, Curry Chicken crisps, egg tarts and soya bean drinks! Annual Dinner 'Bringing Dreams to Life'

Last night everyone had a great time at the annual dinner at Sheraton hotel, Subang Jaya. Some drink too much until mabuk because of free beer and too high. As one of the worldwide sponsors of Olympic, here we grabbed a chance of taking photo with the Beijing 2008 mascot:

There were 25 tables, each represented a city which held Olympic before. We were chosen to be seated at table no.2 (London 1908). The rest were such as: St. Louis 1904, Stockholm 1912, Antwerp 1920, Paris 1924, Amsterdam 1928, Los Angeles 1932, Berlin 1936, London 1948, Helsinki 1952, Melbourne 1956, Rome 1960, Tokyo 1964, Mexico City 1968, Munich 1972, Montreal 1976, Moscow 1980, Los Angeles 1984, Seoul 1988, Barcelona 1992, Atlanta 1996, Sydney 2000, Athens 2004, Beijing 2008(VIP 1), London 2012(VIP2).
There were lucky draw session as usual. For the past 2 years I didn't have luck on that but not this year. My lucky number was no.160, I was given 5 Jusco voucher which worth RM20 each:) Yeah, can go Jusco shopping!

Colleagues House Visiting

The day before Chap Goh Meh, it's our last day to get angpow from our colleagues who are married. We couldn't run away from gambling as well. Newly learnt a game named 'Nami'...... By playing Nami and common poker card games, having BBQ in Vincent's house, the day ended at midnight. Fireworks from Bukit Jalil could clearly be seen from Vincent's front yard while having BBQ, what a joyful & beautiful night after a heavy rain. Bye-bye to Aren for a month again, leaving us to HK.

My Life as McDull(HK, 2001) - Pig year watch Pig movie :) A meaningful yet nonsense cartoon movie. 粉真实也粉够废的一部动画电影，是粉够废的啦！什么'Orange' & 'Banana'道理, 纸包鸡包纸的废道理，不过还蛮暴笑的。I still wanna download its 麦儿菠萝油王子。

- Food -
Aunty recommended us another LuiCha restaurant in Kepong, somewhere near to Wai Sik Kai. The portion is lesser than the food stall with the same price & same taste but there are also other Hakka little serves, like Vege dough 菜板.
