2D1N in Port Dickson

Company sports club organised 2D1N trip to Glory Beach Resort, Port Dickson last weekend. The resort still ok but the beach is kinda dirty. HuiYing who's from PD also went home to sleep because there's one room with fan but no air-cond, like maid room.

Tele-match game started at 4pm under the hot sun. Our team - Rose, only won the Ping-Pong chopstick match at no.2 position. Prize is only snacks for the night =p

Shopping in S&M

I've sent Janet the present earlier b4 her birthday this morning coz not able to celeb her bday next weekend. That weekend I'll be in PD for company event. I've also setup a CDRW while visiting her. Well, sure I've also borrowed some old dramas from her.

Later on, me & my cousin went to KL coz wanna shop in S&M, it's closing down end of this month. All shops were on sales. Well, the drama/movie/anime VCD/DVD not all are that cheap. Saw that the korean movie 'Running Boy' is still RM14.50, so as the jap movie '站在世界中心呼唤爱'.

JiangNan Trip

This trip is kinda educational, had listened a lot of stories of China history while enjoying the beautiful sceneries. Among 5 cities (Shanghai, Hangzhou, Suzhou, Wuxi, Nanjing) in JiangNan, I love Hangzhou the most. Post some photos here first:-

Shanghai Pudong:

The night view of ShanghaiTan(上海滩) from Asia tallest tower, Oriental Pearl Tower. It's the 3rd tallest in World where the 1st in Canada, 2nd in Russia and 4th KL Tower.
Shanghai is divided into 2 parts by HuangPu RiverPudong浦东(East) & Puxi浦西(West). Puxi is rather old while Pudong is newly grown with 15 years of history.

Left: On they way to China no.1 Leaning Tower.
Right: LingShan Buddha, the world largest standing buddha. Its right hand shows up(Sky) and left hand shows down(Ground) which means "天地之间,唯我独尊" in Chinese.

Wuxi Nanxun Water village is awesome with its river ride thru olden days village. It's so comfortable while the wind blow and seeing the LiuShu trees.

QingHeFang cultural street was full of old style shops selling many things. I had YueFei cake(定胜糕) here.

Shanghai XiaoLongBao(Left). All meals through the trip, we were provided 2 bottles of china beer & 1 bottle of soft drink. The beer is cheaper than soft drink because it's China product while soft drink such as Coke is imported. Thus, we can exchange 1 bottle of soft drink to 2 bottles of beer. The taste of beer is slightly less bitter than our carlsberg. So, we can drink beer like drink water.

Our tour guide, XiaoMao 小毛, told us a lot of stories and intro the meanings of all buildings/places interestingly. He has 7yrs of experience as tour guide, 4 years of experience as Malaysian visitors tour guide. Find that Malaysian is language talented but he hardly understands when Malaysian speaks various languages in one sentence. He explained that during shopping, their country's 8折=80% discount. I find that this trip was a bit rush as we only have 1 day to spend in each city while there were a lot more to discover. It's nice to see the ppl there, their culture, etc.

HangZhou has its different looks in different seasons, eg: winter of Hangzhou will full of the beauty of sakura, maybe many many years later we can visit it during winter.

I will upload more photos later when I'm free.

Oh Sushi King

My college friends, Veslyn/Ginn/Eelin/Alywin, met up at Mid Valley today. Veslyn suggested Oh Sushi! restaurant. The menu is similar to Nippon Tei.

My Karayama Ramen and Ginn's Pork Mayonnaise Set:

Me & Ves exchanged Bday present and Ginn's Phuket souvenir:

We were also in Sushi King because Eelin & Alywin were late, so this time it's their turn of eating. We had not met Alywin since diploma abt 5yrs! All of us do not change much at all.

A cute boy sitting behind me:

Product intro by Yenn

Last night after work, me and Yenn together with another Yenn's friend... 3 of us met up at Sunway Piramid. We all are in the line of IT support. It has been abt 1 n a half year me & Yenn had not met up because she was too busy on work. Well, this time Yenn wanna intro us a new product at Puchong, somewhere near to the Giant Puchong opposite shop lots.

There are many restaurants or cafe for night life here, eg: Coffee Station no.1 or chinese style tea house, stalls, etc. After the product seminar, all ppl out for drinks and had a more in-depept info on the product. It's an organic food drink named Melilea.

Melilea GreenField organic has the function of detoxifying the toxins in body cells. As they said so, some fat people after taking it 3 times a day for 120 days will see the result of slimming. True? If Yenn tried it, I would like to see the result because she has gain a lot of weight since diploma, she's really a good example if slimming down. If face with many pimples can also try it and no longer need to make up for natural beauty, wonder this can help Yenn. Because it releases the toxins, it strengthens our immune system and prevents modern diseases. It's a vegie enzim organic food from wheat, cabbage, rice, oats, carot, barley, strawberry, ginger, orange, lecithin, celeriac, celery, sweet corn, papaya, dulse, parsley, brussels spout, spinach, spices, soybean, spirulina, etc. But 1 bottle of 458 grams costs RM100+ @_@

French movie

HuiYing passed me a DVD - The Chorus Les Choristes, a French movie. It's been sometime we had not watched any French movie since Amelie which is one of our favourite French movie.
The story of 'The Chorus Les Choristes' is about a music professor went into a school and tried to transform the students through the power of music. He established a choir band... happened in 1948...

Annual Dinner

This is the 2nd year I joined the company annual dinner. It's held at Grand Ballroom, Holiday Inn Glenmarie Subang with the theme of 'Bringing Dreams to Life' - Unity. Friendship, Progress, Harmony, Participation & Dream. We are one of the sponsor of 2008 Olympics in Beijing, so everybody is encouraged to dress in Olympics custome. My dept bought about 30+ of England Jersey to follow the theme. Everyone who joined this dinner is given a white Adidas jacket, kinda huge size for me.

The programmes:

Well, my senior manager was nominated as the 'Star of Employee' this year, yeah~ she deserved it and famous among all staff. Then, my lucky draw number as shown as 156 = no luck! Again, same as last year I didn't get any prizes. Maybe next year, if I'm still in the company =p

I'm proud to be the England team, even our head of dept was also wearing it coz we've never seen him wear as casual as last night. All the while, he was in very strict blue or white attires only. I guess everyone who attended this dinner had a great time and enjoyed the games/performance. Some of them had too much beer seems a bit drunk, they made it like a wedding dinner which kept having 'yum sing'.

We(Hoon/Janet/Sunny) went to MidValley's Kiku Zakura japanese restaurant to have lunch. Nice food, delicious~ Sashimi, Udon, Sushi, Soba...

Sunny had booked movie tickets as well - 49 Days. It's a ghost movie, quite worth to watch it. It's acted by Fung Tak Lun and happens during chinese anxient time. The sceneries of Fung's home, water village, is beautiful. It's not a horror movie but there's some part very funny.

My present - Philips stereo headphone:

Bday celebration with EeLin

EeLin, my college friend, treat me a lunch at KLCC's San Francisco SteakHouse. I was early to Kinokuniya to read some magazines and travelling books regarding ShangHai. Eelin came later to find out her crochet books.

Busy escalator in front of Kinokuniya:

At first we thought of Chili's Grill but it's too crowded. Among the cafe along KLCC pool, we've chosen San Francisco SteakHouse. I ordered Norwegian Salmon while Eelin had the fillet of Dory.

Fresh & juicy Norwegian Salmon with Teriyaki(sweet) sauce:
Fillet of Dory with Cajun(spicy) sause:
The environment of the restaurant is quiet & peace with beautiful wall drawings. However, only the smoking area is facing the beautiful pool.

Bday celebration with colleagues

My malay colleague, Zaila, invited me to have lunch and my colleagues planned to go to Secret Recipe. Zaila called up them earlier to reserve seats for us. I had my fish & chips with SummerTime apple juice:) She even prepared a present for me - Pencil case.
BTW, so touch that my senior manager bought 2 cakes(Banana flavor and chocolate flavor) for me for the first time, so I blow the candles twice. This is because my department has expanded and not enough slices of cakes to share with every staff with a cake.
