Accommodation of Macau Trip

Hong Kong Home Stay 香港之家. The kind of typical flat house. The house is manged by China man, so they prefer RMB rather than HK$.It is approximately RM31 per night after included the water/ gas/ electricity.
2 Night Stay per person = HK$91 + RMB50 = RM62
It has 2 very small room. 1 with double decker bed and another with double bed.
It has a bathroom which uses gas for water heater.
There's a TV in the living room.
The living room has a sofa bed.
The kitchen looks dirty but we didn't use it at all except brushing teeth. The view from bedroom are surrounding with many other flats.
The middle of the street is running with tram or you can reach by SaiWanHo 西湾河 train.


Shenzhen RiHua Hotel 日华宾馆 (3 Stars)
1 Night (3 Beds in 1 Room) = RMB210 ÷ 3 = RMB70 = RM33
2 Night Stay = Each person was about RM65.

Booking online for China hotel is cheaper than walk-in.
It is within walking distance to DongMen shopping street 东门步行街(老街Exit B, 建设路) that without worries to go back hotel if shop late in night. Zhuhai BuBuGao Hotel 步步高 (3 Stars)
1 Night (2 Beds in 1 Room) = RMB178 ÷ 2 = RMB89 = RM41.
This one even provide a water dispenser in the room.
Macau Augusters Backpacker Hostel.
There are free internet access in the open area.
One of the room that we stayed. 2 double decker beds.
GuanPei & SookChen slept in another room with 1 double decker bed.

1 Night (6 Beds) = HK$400 ÷ 6 = HK$67 = RM30
The person who rent us the room is very friendly and the place is cleaner & more comfortable than Hong Kong Home Stay. One of the disadvantages is that it's located at the 3rd floor without lift which is not convenient for heavy luggages to move up.

PeiChi's Birthday Celebration

PeiChi's birthday is coming soon. Initially her bf planned to celeb in Sushi Groove after work but some of us are unavailable. So, we've changed to celeb in Secret Recipe in PBD at lunch time. This is my japanese soba noodle.
The fresh fruit punch which got the banana flavor combined.

Back from Macau

This is just a brief description of the destinations that we've step in. I will write more in details in the coming posts. Here I was in Hong Kong in front of a tram. Followed by the Windows of the World in Shenzhen. This is a mini Taj Mahal.

Finally we were at the fountain of Largo do Senado in Macau.

At the Ruins of St. Paul. Right next to it is the Monte Fortress. The left is the NaTcha temple & Old City wall (舊城牆遺址).
Approximately RM1.5K (included Air ticket RM365 + Chinese visa) is enough for this trip. Well, due to the autumn season and the winter is coming soon, all the clothes for sales most were long sleeves that isn't suitable for Msia weather, so I didn't do much shopping. This white colour suit which I was wearing was bought in Shenzhen:) Ended up we still have a lot of extra money to try out the food here.

Taiwan D'licious

Remembered last year Hoon's birthday we went to Taiwan D'licious in bandar Menjalara. Today me & my family had lunch in Bandar Puteri Puchong's Taiwan D'licious franchise.

Preparation for next week's Macau trip

MingLi borrowed me her Octopus card for HK travel. Me, Gerlin, HuiYing, ChaiLan, GuanPei & SookChen are heading to Macau on 14 - 20 Nov by AirAsia. Our plan is once we reach Macau, we will take the ferry to HK and check-in the apartment (Hong Kong Home 香港之家) which ChunKiat helped us to book it when he was working at there. After 2 nights stay, we will go to Shenzhen and stay at DongMen shopping street for 2 nights. Then, Zhuhai for a night along the YingBin south street which is very near to the Macau border. And finally our last night will be staying in Macau's Augusters backpack hostel which MingLi recommended us.

During my traveling period, coincidentally Sunny's birthday is on 17 Nov. So, here's a early birthday wishes for her. Happy Birthday to Sunny!

Terry Fox Run at Lake Garden

We participated the Terry Fox Run again. It's a charity walk for the cancer research. Well, this year there wasn't much sponsors on food compared to the previous year. And we couldn't even find the finished running stickers to stick on our Terry Fox run cert.
Later on, we need to shopped for wedding gift because we couldn't attend Mathew's wedding dinner on 18 Nov. We will be flying to Macau from 14-20 Nov. So, we had bought and shared the wedding gifts. This looks fun for his decoration.

Hoon's Birthday at Redbox

Sunday Redbox LowYat, the Brunch Buffet session is from 11am-3pm. Me, Janet & Sunny celebrated birthday for Hoon at here. 4 of us with 3 mic, busy singing & busy eating =p

CWH went over to Singapore with his gf during the raya holiday, he bought us each a key ring. Hoon's company trip was going to Bangkok last month & she'd also been to Taiwan with Janet & Sunny abt a month ago. The Taiwan souvenir is a magnet bookmark, very useful.

Birthday celebration at Chilis

Most of the colleagues voted Chilis in 1U, so we celebrated YGH's birthday at there. At first, a few of us had wanted TGIF because they said the waiters/waitress will sing birthday songs to the birtday boy, somemore the price is reasonable.

Well, for drinks...... we all ordered the bottomless fruit juice. They have 6 flavours - Apple, Green Guava, Mango, Orange, Pineapple & Tomato. After you finished, you can ask to refill with another flavour. HuiYing ended up refilled 4 glasses =p while I just took 2 glasses.

2D1N Ipoh Trip

End of September or early of October is good day for wedding. CWH had to go back Ipoh to attend wedding dinner, that's why he organised a Ipoh trip with us to bring him back to Ipoh. He is from Ipoh but doesn't know much of the nice things in Ipoh, CWH even introduced us the so-called 'delicious maggi mee' that gave us very high expectation, ate until my whole stomach oso 'sing tou fo' jor... We should have seek advice from JK rather than this organiser. Anyway, we were still satisfied with the condo unit that he booked for us.

Ipoh is a place where rich of caves, CWH brought us to several caves. This is Sam Po Tong caves.

By the time we reached Perak caves (霹雳洞), it had already closed.

Gua Tempurung is one of the most challenging caves that we had gone through. If you like adventures, you will like it. For me, just to try once =p We took the Grand tour which costs us RM22 for a 4 hours walk in the caves. We took the most difficult route where included dry & wet, we'd to use our torchlights to walk in the dark. Luckily now isn't the bats season, else we might get the bats shits =p Some of their slippers or pants were spoilt after kena the air kapur or slide through the cave rocks. The tour guide was kinda funny & helpful. Somehow I knocked my head slightly in the narrow caves, crawled through small holes and finally got wet.

Tambun Hot Springs had already bought by Sunway and now need to pay RM5. Long time ago, it was free.
After a day long tired journey, we relaxed at Tambun for a while.
The condo unit that was renovated & can fit in 12ppl but we had only 7 here.
